Eunice Cho ('10), Senior Staff Attorney at the ACLU National Prison Project, was quoted in The Palm Springs Desert Sun regarding her organization's victory in obtaining a temporary restraining order on behalf of at-risk detainees in California ("Coronavirus Update: Federal Judge Orders Six Adelanto Detainees Released," Apr. 2). "Immigration detention should not be a death sentence, but for our clients, it certainly could be. We are thrilled to see judges around the country affirm our position that it is unconscionable to keep people in civil detention under these circumstances."
