José Javier Rodríguez ('06), Florida State Senator, raised the burden reopening places on working families, the need to secure further testing and protective equipment, and the extension of the work search waiver in a Florida Politics piece ("Florida's Reopening is on the Backs of Working Families, Senator Claims," May 4). "The state's economic recovery 'plan' looks no different than its task force composition with working families and small businesses left out while shouldering the risks of what's to come. … Families who needed a bridge across this economic crisis are being cut off when they need it most."
