Sharon Terman ('05), Director of the Work and Family Program and Senior Staff Attorney for San Francisco's Legal Aid at Work, was quoted in a Bloomberg Law piece regarding understanding eligibility and related employer and employee concerns in navigating paid family leave this summer ("Punching In: School's Out Means Paid Leave's In for Some Workers," June 1). "Fear of retaliation for exercising their rights is always a concern. That's another reason why the Department of Labor should make crystal clear to employers and employees that they're going to vigorously enforce this law."
